Product Overview

The Danfoss 080G0115 MCX06D is a compact DIN-rail programmable controller intended for HVAC/R equipment. It provides the MCX06D input/output platform, CANbus connectivity, Modbus RS485 communication and a real-time clock without an integrated graphic display.

This no-display version is suitable for control cabinets where local display functions are not required or where a separate remote MCX interface is installed. It provides four analog inputs, eight digital inputs, three analog outputs and six relay outputs.

The 080G0115 should not be confused with 080G0112. The 080G0112 includes an integrated graphic LCD, while 080G0115 is the corresponding RS485 and RTC version without an integrated display.

The controller is suitable for centralized control panels used with chillers, refrigeration equipment, heat pumps, air-handling units and rooftop systems. A compatible remote display may be used when operator access is required away from the controller.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Check whether the installed machine requires an integrated LCD. Replacing 080G0112 with 080G0115 removes the local display, even though the main I/O and communication specifications are similar.

Verify the original application software, BIOS or hardware revision, CANbus address, Modbus settings and parameter file. A hardware-only controller may require programming before it can operate the machine.
